How we began
Tani Maria, Tanis Thomas, Tanis Dimitrios, Tanis Ioannis
The company was founded in 1992 by the Tani Family under the direction of Thomas Tani (then owner of an original pizza-restaurant combination with 20 years of gastronomic experience), with the vision to produce delicious, easy to use, without requiring preparation and cost-competitive products available in any kind of kitchen, professional or not.
In the early years, it focused on the production of some delicatessen products targeted at the local market and small retail outlets.
After a self-financing investment, the company has expanded to create workshops for production, processing, packaging and storage in 1,000sqm plants on three different production lines, both automatic and handmade, covering the entire range of professional requirements of each kitchen, with a plethora of products for every use and presentation.
Since 2008, the company has changed its form into an General Partnership Company with the entry of the second generation (the two sons of Dimitrios and Ioannis Tani) into the management and operation of the business, maintaining family character and morals.
Utilizing cutting-edge techniques and custom-made equipment, our range of products today is more than 50 in different packages while maintaining the highest levels of compliance with HACCP and Quality Assurance (ISO 9001) which enable us to guarantee that our products will be the same and will have the same unparalleled flavor every time.
